I had the privilege of being interviewed recently by Jon Robison, an American missionary based in Tokyo, for his podcast J-CATS: Japanese Contextual and Theological Studies. His primary twofold aim is to promote contextualised Japanese Christianity and decontextualise western cultural preferences, and his target audience is missionaries and non-Japanese Christians.
In this episode, I share about the beginnings of my decolonising journey, as well as what I would say to those who want to begin a similar journey. If you’ve been following my newsletter since the start, a lot of it might already be familiar,1 but at least you can actually hear what my voice sounds like. (See below for timestamps.)
